If you are searching for truly authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Nice, look no further than Puro Italiano Vero.
The pasta, especially “The Woodworker” was absolutely unforgettable. Fresh, rich, and crafted with the finest ingredients and a deep sense of tradition, it was so good I was genuinely tempted to order a second plate. I am still dreaming of the hand-made pasta, mushrooms, and amazing sausage!
The space itself is unique: the walls are adorned with art created by the owner, but the real masterpiece is what comes out of the kitchen. While the lighting and seating aren’t traditionally cozy, something magical happens the moment the appetizers hit your palate, you are transported into the warm, welcoming home of a small northern Italian town, and from that point on, nothing else matters.
A special highlight was the owner’s son…a young, incredibly talented individual who speaks five languages. He was as impressive as the food, and easily someone you could chat with for hours.
An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend!
Giuliano and his associates are so very welcoming and we love the ambiance and vibe. Like dining with family.
The black spaghetti with seafood was excellent as was my wife’s crepe with spinach and smoked salmon.
One of our must go to restaurants in Nice.
Merci.
